After plenty of rumblings and fan speculation, AEW All In Texas will see International Champion Kenny Omega vs. Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada in a title unification match.
As seen on last night’s AEW Dynamite, Omega and Okada will do battle at All In for what will seemingly be called the AEW Unified Championship.

Not just did Dynamite see this announcement made, but we seemingly got a new alliance between Kazuchika Okada and Don Callis. Callis made his way out to the ring to berate the Best Bout Machine, which led to Okada brutally attacking Kenny – to the point that Omega did a stretcher job.
Even then, the Rainmaker assaulted Omega twice as he was being carried out on that stretcher, and Kazuchika and Callis fled the arena together in a car, suggesting that two of Kenny’s greatest rivals are now working together.
This will be the first singles match between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada since their epic two-out-of-three-falls contest at NJPW Dominion back in 2018. There, it was the Canadian emerging victorious to win the IWGP Heavyweight Title and bring Okada’s record-setting reign to an end at 720 days.

Omega Vs. Okada Now Set
Per Fightful Select, tentative plans have been in place for almost a year to do Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada at All In Texas next month. Those plans were firmed up this past December, shortly before Omega worked the Wrestle Dynasty crossover event at the Tokyo Dome at the turn of the year.
This Fightful report notes how the outlet had not heard of the AEW Intercontinental Championship being floated around at any point for the name of this new unified title, and added that the AEW Unified Championship will be booked and presented as if it is another “top championship” for the company rather than a “mid or upper midcard” prize.
Given how the Continental Championship has its roots in the annual Continental Classic, for those wondering what this unification means for that tournament, Fightful indicates that the Continental Classic will not be affected and that the tourney is “here to stay”.
As of this writing, Omega vs. Okada is one of three matches already announced for All In Texas, with the other bouts being Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, and ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm putting the AEW Women’s Title up against Mercedes Moné.
Emanating from Arlington, Texas’ Globe Life Field – home of the Texas Rangers MLB team – All In 2025 takes place on 12 July.
